About William

William Andreoni serves as the RSM US LLP’s (RSM) national asset management consulting leader. He also serves as the national co-leader for RSM Fund Services+, RSM's comprehensive fund administration/fund tax solution. As a leader in these areas, William focuses on developing and executing these services in the private equity (PE), private credit (PC) and real estate (RE) markets, with a focus on bringing holistic and integrated solutions to our clients.

Experience

William utilizes over 20 years of progressive PE, PC and RE experience in helping clients manage their back-office needs across the ManCo, fund and asset level, complex accounting and reporting responsibilities, policy and procedure development, and assisting in evaluating and implementing target operating models.

Prior to joining RSM, Bill spent several years in a Big Four firm’s audit practice, specializing in financial services and fund audits. He has over 15 years of senior-level accounting and finance leadership roles at public- and privately held companies across PE and RE.

Several past experiences include:

• Co-led development and operations for financial and regulatory reporting practice for large fund administrator, including implementation of complex new accounting, reporting and compliance matters for hedge funds, PE funds and RE funds
• Led technical accounting advisory team for a large fund administrator
• Head of financial services industry for technical accounting consulting firm
• Head of FP&A and business partnering, planning and performance efforts for a large asset management firm (Americas region)
• Authored and presented various thought leadership efforts related to back-office optimizations, fund accounting and various other industry topics
