About Rob

Rob Casillo is RSM US LLP’s consumer products audit leader.

Experience

Rob has more than 18 years of experience leading all phases of financial and internal control audit engagements, including total responsibility for servicing closely held corporations, private equity-backed portfolio companies, and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) registrants in the consumer products industry. His sector focus includes retail (grocery and convenience stores), food and beverage manufacturers, and other consumer goods companies.

He leads RSM’s retail assurance practice for the enterprise and is operationally responsible for over 100 retail audit professionals across the U.S. and India.

Rob also spent seven years serving as the audit industry leader for the consumer products industry. In this role, Rob was responsible for building community among consumer products client service professionals across the firm’s nearly 80 offices, overseeing the development of the firm’s technical and thought leadership activities as they pertain to the consumer products industry and assisting teams in navigating complex industry related accounting and auditing issues.

He is passionate about seeing his clients achieve their strategic endeavors through compliance services or providing consultative support. He truly enjoys helping others succeed and is motivated professionally by continually challenging himself and learning.

Rob and a few friends drove almost 10,000 miles during a cross-country road trip the summer after graduating high school. He continues to enjoy exploring new places and traveling with his wife and their two boys.
