About Ian

Ian Constable brings more than 20 years of assurance experience with RSM Canada LLP and serves as office leader for the Calgary office. He is responsible for driving growth and culture in the local market.

Experience

Ian provides assurance services to a variety of public and private organizations and private equity firms, with a focus on the energy and hospitality sectors. Ian has extensive experience with International Financial Reporting Standards and Canadian Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises. Additionally, he leads and advises his clients in transactions involving the Canadian and Alberta securities regulators, including taking private clients public. Ian has been involved in all types of financings, takeover transactions and listing requirements for capital pool corporations.

A graduate of the University of Calgary, Ian was a member of the men’s varsity ice hockey team and has been involved in the Calgary hockey community his entire life. He is an active participant in the Calgary Northwest Warriors minor hockey organization as an assistant coach for all three of his children’s ice hockey teams.
